The show premiered on May 27, 2025, and as of now, four episodes are out. It airs every Tuesday at 10 p.m. KST on Mnet, so it’s easy to make it part of your weekly K-culture fix. Whether you’re a K-pop fan, a street dance lover, or just here for the drama, WSWF delivers on all fronts.

    What’s the Concept?

World of Street Woman Fighter is a spin-off of the hit series “Street Woman Fighter”, but this time it's gone global. Crews from countries like the U.S., Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and of course Korea, are battling it out in intense team missions to prove they’re the best female street dance crew in the world. Every mission tests their skills, creativity, and chemistry – and with every round, the stakes get higher.

    Meet the Crews

Each crew brings its own unique flavor to the stage:

AG SQUAD (Australia / New Zealand roots)

This powerhouse crew is a fusion of Australian grit and New Zealand’s elite streetdance pedigree. Founded for WSWF, AG Squad features ex-Royal Family members—leader Kaea, Kyra, Ruthy Baby—who bring rich resumes as backup dancers for global acts like Justin Bieber, Jennifer Lopez, and Enrique Iglesias. Their diverse skills cover dancehall, reggaeton, heels, and hip‑hop, making every performance full of texture and charisma. They’re known for their solidarity and layered routines that pay homage to their Royal Family roots.

Korea’s “Avengers”-level dream team unites standout leaders from Street Woman Fighter Season 1 – Honey J, Monika, Aiki, Leejung, Ri.hey, and others – along with waacking icon Lip J. Their synergy, refined choreography, and battle-tested backgrounds shine in every mission. As K-pop veteran choreographers and dancers, they bring precision, flair, and leadership to the stage.

    MOTIV (USA)

Representing the U.S., this hard-hitting hip-hop crew is led by Marlee, a seasoned old-school dancer. Joined by breaking ace Logistx – who represented Team USA at the Paris Olympics – MOTIV brings raw energy and dynamic battles to the floor. Their vibe is gritty and infectious, merging street authenticity with crowd-rousing power.

This Tokyo crew is helmed by Riehata – dubbed the “Queen of Swag” – a renowned choreographer for acts including BTS, EXO, and G-Dragon. RHTokyo fuses sleek, stylish performance with tight musicality. Their routines are polished, emotive, and meticulously crafted—a true masterclass in stagecraft.

A legacy crew evolved from Parris Goebel’s world-famous ensemble, now led by Teesha, they carry the Royal Family legacy with pride. With eight members, they specialize in dancehall, gangsta, polyswagg, and hip‑hop. Globally recognized – from Rihanna to Lady Gaga performances – they bring high-octane energy, theatrical flair, and commanding presence.

The Judges Who Set the Standard

At the center of the action is Mike Song, a globally respected dancer and choreographer, serving as the main Fight Judge. He’s joined by special guest judges in each round – including iconic names like Ashley Everett, former dance captain for Beyoncé, and Baek Gu-young, known for his choreography work in K-pop. Their sharp eyes and honest feedback give the competition real credibility.

    The Battle Format

Each episode is packed with missions based on K-pop songs, ranked battles, and evaluations. The latest challenge, World of K-pop mission, had crews battle it out using tracks from G-Dragon, BLACKPINK Jennie, and aespa. The scoring combines judge evaluations, public global votes, and past performance rankings.

And yes – eliminations are real. In Episode 4, the Royal Family faced Osaka Ojogang in a nail-biting five-round elimination battle. Despite their strong global reputation, Royal Family became the first crew to be eliminated. A shocking and emotional moment that proves how intense this competition really is.

One of the World of Street Woman Fighter’s most buzzworthy moments came when BLACKPINK’s Jennie appeared – on-screen – to herald the launch of the "Mega Crew Mission". Stepping in for regular judge Park Jin-young, who was away due to personal commitments, Jennie brought star power and added a fresh burst of energy to the set. Her cameo wasn’t just for show: she introduced the next high-stakes round, prompting an electric reaction from the dancers and audience alike. Viewership ratings spiked, even topping buzz rankings that week. By entrusting her with this role, the show signaled a meaningful crossover between mainstream K-pop and street dance culture—solidifying Jennie’s influence beyond music and into the world of performance arts.

The next mission on World of Street Woman Fighter is the highly anticipated Mega Crew Mission, set to air on Tuesday, June 25 at 10 p.m. KST. In this round, each crew must create a large-scale performance using over 30 dancers, with choreography designed to be captured from a high-angle camera. But it’s not just about scale—the mission challenges teams to craft a performance that represents the unique culture and spirit of their home country, making it a bold display of both national pride and artistic vision. Expectations are sky-high, and the crews will need to blend storytelling, formation mastery, and visual impact to stand out.

World of Street Woman Fighter is more than just a dance competition – it’s a celebration of talent, diversity, and strength. It brings women from across the globe together, not only to compete but to create unforgettable performances and inspire a new generation of dancers. With only a few episodes out, now’s the perfect time to catch up and get hooked.
