What
is Kimbap?
Kimbap is a Korean seaweed rice roll filled with a variety of ingredients
and sliced into bite-sized pieces.
It looks similar to sushi, but it’s flavored differently, has cooked
ingredients, and is typically eaten as a snack, lunch, or picnic food.
"Kim" = seaweed, "Bap" = rice
Inside, you might find cooked egg, pickled
radish, carrots, spinach, ham, tuna, bulgogi, or even cheese. Everything is
wrapped in roasted seaweed and rolled tightly.
