Sunscreen Season Is Here Are You Using
the Right One?
Sunscreen isn’t just a summer essential it’s
a year-round must. But when the heat hits and your makeup starts melting off,
it’s time to get serious about your formula. Did you know your sunscreen can
actually affect how well your makeup lasts?
I noticed my makeup was melting faster than
ever this summer until I switched to a lighter, more hydrating sunscreen. Since
then, my makeup stays put longer and my skin looks so much smoother. Why didn’t I switch sooner?
So, we’re diving into Korea’s latest 2025
sunscreen launches and rounding up the best picks for every skin type.
Plus: pro-level cleansing tips to keep your skin clear and glowing.
And one more important thing!
Applying sunscreen properly is important but
so is removing it properly.
Don’t rely on just a foam cleanser. If you're using SPF daily (and you
should!), use a cleansing oil or cleansing milk to fully remove residue
and avoid breakouts. We’ll also recommend the best cleansing
products and routines by skin type at the end of this guide.

Strong longevity needs a thorough cleansing oil to remove
After protecting your skin from the harsh
sun all day, it’s just as important to cleanse thoroughly at night to let your
skin rest.
If you’re using a gentle sunscreen without
whitening ingredients, a good cleanse with a foam cleanser should be enough.
But if your sunscreen contains brightening or whitening agents, it
usually adheres more strongly to the skin so double cleansing with a
cleansing oil and foam is essential. That said, if your skin is dry or
sensitive, double cleansing can sometimes feel too harsh.
For oily or combination skin, we recommend using a cleansing oil or balm for your first cleanse, followed by a foam cleanser.
For dry or sensitive skin, opt for a cleansing milk as your first step, then follow with a low-pH foam cleanser for a gentler, non-stripping finish.
