BIGHIT MUSIC, the powerhouse label behind global icons BTS and Tomorrow X Together (TXT), has unveiled its first new group in six years: the five-member boy group CORTIS. This highly anticipated event marks a bold new era for the label and the K-pop scene at large.

On August 11 at midnight KST, CORTIS released their first promotional material – a concept photo set and a dynamic music video for their pre-release track “GO!”, which serves as the intro to their upcoming EP COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES. The video, filmed in Los Angeles, radiates carefree, youthful energy. With playful, unconventional scenes – like splashing through a car wash or filming with a 360-degree camera in their mouth – and energetic techniques like stop motion, they capture raw youthfulness and hip-hop energy in a way that feels fresh, dynamic, and entirely their own.

On August 12 at midnight KST, they also released 'GO!' Conceptual Performance Film. The video delivers a performance-packed preview of the group’s synergy, precision, and charisma, setting the bar high for their official debut.

Who Are CORTIS?

CORTIS consists of Martin, James, Juhoon, Seonghyeon, and Keonho – each bringing unique flair and creative force to the group. Their name, an interplay of letters from "Color Outside the Lines", symbolizes their mission to transcend norms and embrace creative freedom. Even in their teens, CORTIS members stand out as a true “young creators’ crew,” bringing their own vision to both music and video production. Their “GO!” music video, shot in Los Angeles, was entirely planned, filmed, and edited by the members during their trainee days. Every member contributes to songwriting, choreography, and videography, working collaboratively.

Martin
(Leader, Main Vocalist)

Born March 20, 2008, in Canada, Martin Edwards Park is the leader and main vocalist of CORTIS. He has contributed to songwriting for artists like TXT, ENHYPEN, and LE SSERAFIM, showcasing his creative talents. His leadership and musical abilities position him as a central figure in the group.

James
(Main Dancer, Rapper)

Born October 14, 2005, in Hong Kong, James (Zhao Yufan) is the oldest member of CORTIS. He is known for his dance skills and has experience in choreography and production, including contributions to TXT and ILLIT. James is fluent in Thai, Chinese, Korean, and English, and has a background in taekwondo and ice hockey.

Juhoon

(Lead Vocalist, Visual)

Born January 3, 2008, in South Korea, Juhoon began his career as a child model before joining CORTIS as a trainee in 2024. He serves as a lead vocalist and is recognized for his visuals and performance skills, contributing to the group's dynamic presence.

Seonghyeon

Born January 13, 2009, in South Korea, Seonghyeon brings vibrancy and magnetic stage presence to CORTIS. As a lead dancer and sub vocalist, he contributes to the group's energetic performances and engaging stage presence.

Keonho

(Maknae, Vocalist, Visual)

Born February 14, 2009, in South Korea, Keonho is the youngest member (maknae) of CORTIS. Formerly a competitive swimmer, he joined BigHit Music in 2021. Keonho is known for his captivating visuals and poised charisma, making him a standout member even before the group's debut.
