The highly anticipated new season of Culinary Class Wars Season 2 is finally arriving on Netflix on December 16! With 100 chefs and hundreds of production staff joining forces, this season promises an even more intense competition and a bigger, more dynamic stage than before. Celebrity chef Baek Jong-won returns as a judge once again. Despite recent controversies surrounding him, the production team stated, “We decided to proceed as planned and leave the judgment to the viewers.”

Season 1 made history in 2022 as the first Korean reality show to reach No.1 on Netflix’s Global TOP 10. All eyes are now on Culinary Class Wars Season 2 what new stories will unfold as Baek Jong-won returns?

Before the official launch, the show also unveiled this season’s competing “White Spoon” and “Black Spoon” chefs. Twenty White Spoon chefs and eighty Black Spoon chefs will enter the battlefield. The concept of dividing chefs into upper- and lower-class groups White Spoons vs. Black Spoons is the trademark of the show, creating nail-biting anticipation around which underdog Black Spoon chef might become the next breakout star like Kwon Sung-jun from last season, who finished as runner-up and changed the course of the competition.

With the chef lineup being announced in advance this time, viewers can dive more deeply into each chef’s personal story. Who will rise to the top this season? Some faces will be familiar to Korean viewers others will be completely new. Let’s meet the White Spoon chefs first!
