The global love for Korean food continues
to evolve, and now, it’s stepping into a bold new era. Enter ARIH, a modern
ramyeon-inspired brand that blends Korean tradition, wellness innovation, and
the creative spirit of BTS. More than just instant noodles, ARIH positions
itself as a lifestyle-driven food experience, capturing the rhythm of Korea for
a global audience.
What
Is ARIH?

ARIH is a newly launched Korean food and
beverage brand created by major food companies Paldo and hy in collaboration
with global K-pop group BTS. Officially unveiled on April 13, 2026, the brand
introduces a new category called “Modern Balance Food,” combining noodles,
postbiotic energy drinks, and functional sodas designed for contemporary
lifestyles.

Rather than a simple endorsement, BTS were
involved from the early planning stages – contributing to the brand name,
flavors, and even packaging design – making ARIH a co-created project that
reflects their creative direction and global perspective. The result is a brand
that not only modernizes Korean ramyeon, but also integrates wellness-focused
products into a unified concept aimed at bringing Korean food culture to a
global mainstream audience.
How
BTS Introduced ARIH to the World

The announcement of ARIH quickly drew
attention after BTS began posting a series of cryptic teasers on social media.
In early April, the members shared Instagram Stories featuring a mysterious
account called “ARIH” (@taste_arih), along with similar captions hinting at
something new. RM wrote, “I hope you like what we like,” while Jungkook added
that they prefer “something a little different rather than something too
predictable.”

Rather than a traditional brand reveal, BTS
built anticipation through these subtle hints and a specific date prompting
fans to speculate about a new project. The coordinated posts across all
members, combined with the launch of the dedicated ARIH account, turned the
rollout into an interactive teaser campaign, generating global curiosity and
positioning the brand as a creative extension of BTS’s taste and preferences
rather than a typical endorsement.
Modern
Noodles
At the heart of ARIH is its Modern Noodle line – a reimagined version of classic Korean ramyeon. These noodles are designed with a “Western-Korean fusion” concept, offering restaurant-inspired flavors that feel both familiar and elevated. The idea is simple: comfort food that doesn’t feel basic. Instead, ARIH’s noodles aim to deliver a refined, soulful dining experience – something closer to a curated meal than a quick snack.

The current lineup includes K-Super Spicy
Seaweed, Spicy Seaweed, Black Pepper Tteokbokki, Gochujang Butter, Soy Sauce
Butter, Truffle Bulgogi, and Vongole—a mix of distinctly Korean tastes and
globally inspired profiles. All flavors are available in both cup and packet
formats.

Postbiotic
Energy Drinks
Beyond noodles, ARIH expands into
functional wellness with its Postbiotic Energy line. This product is built
around a 0g sugar formulation, focusing on sustained energy without the typical
crash associated with sugary drinks. Using postbiotic science, ARIH positions
this line as a clean, modern solution for focus and clarity.

The Postbiotic Energy lineup offers a total
of seven distinct flavors: Cherry Nova, Blush Berry, Jolly Strawberry, Lemon
Crest, Orange Hour, Peachy Sunshine, and Tropical Wave. Each drink is designed
to deliver a light, fruit-forward taste – from citrusy and refreshing to sweet
and tropical.
Dual Biotic Soda
Complementing both food and energy products
is ARIH’s Dual Biotic Soda. This sparkling drink combines prebiotics and
dietary fiber, targeting digestive health and overall well-being. But ARIH
takes it a step further – framing it not just as a health product, but as part
of an emotional rhythm. The idea is that balance isn’t only
physical – it’s mental and emotional too. With this approach, ARIH taps into
the growing global demand for functional beverages while maintaining a strong
storytelling identity.

The Dual Biotic Soda lineup completes ARIH’s
wellness concept with seven flavors—Berry Bliss, Clear Lemon, Pineapple Drift,
Positive Orange, Peach Mango Horizon, Red Ruby Galore, and Apple Flare—each
offering a light, fruit-forward sparkling profile ranging from citrusy and
tropical to crisp apple and grapefruit.
Brand Philosophy: Life Happens in 사이 [Sa-i]

© ARIH
What truly sets ARIH apart is its philosophy. Inspired by the Korean concept of Arirang, the brand embraces the idea of the “in-between” – or 사이 (Sa-i). Rather than choosing extremes, ARIH celebrates the space where life actually happens: between work and rest, between movement and stillness, between tradition and innovation.

© ARIH
ARIH describes itself as “a modern
translation of a traditional rhythm”, inviting consumers into a Korean state of
mind rather than just offering products. This philosophy aligns closely with
BTS’s message of self-discovery and emotional authenticity, making the brand
feel deeply intentional rather than purely commercial.
Events and Global Engagement

To support its launch, ARIH has already
begun rolling out real-world experiences, starting with its official launch
party held April 10–12 at Westfield Century City in Los Angeles – a public,
first-come, first-served event that marked the brand’s global debut.
Looking ahead, the brand is also planning
ARIH booths connected to upcoming BTS world tour stops, with more locations and
details yet to be announced. Rather than general marketing campaigns, these
events are positioned as immersive, in-person experiences, giving fans and
consumers a chance to interact with the brand concept directly as ARIH expands
globally.
Where Will ARIH Be Available?

© ARIH
ARIH is rolling out with a clear
global-first strategy, beginning with an official launch in the United States
through Walmart – both in stores and online – starting April 24. Rather than
launching domestically first, the brand is using Walmart’s large-scale
distribution network to quickly reach international consumers and accelerate
global visibility. Following its U.S. debut, ARIH is scheduled to launch in
Korea shortly after (around late May), with plans to expand into additional
major markets as part of a broader global rollout. Online platforms will likely play a major
role, making it accessible to international consumers who are eager to explore
new Korean food trends. As demand grows, offline retail and specialty stores
may follow.

So, as you can see, even though ARIH can be
called just another ramyeon brand, it’s actually much more than that. It’s
statement about where Korean food is headed. By combining tradition,
innovation, and the global influence of BTS, ARIH creates something that feels
both deeply Korean and universally relevant. It invites consumers not only to
taste Korea, but to experience its rhythm, philosophy, and way of life.
In a market full of instant options, ARIH
stands out by asking a simple but powerful question: what if food could help
you find your balance? And perhaps, as the brand suggests, it really does just
feel right.
