The timing made the occasion particularly
special. BTS debuted on June 13, 2013, and this year’s anniversary fell exactly
13 years later, on June 13, 2026. Fans quickly pointed out the significance of
the matching numbers, making the celebration feel even more memorable.

As a Perfect Place for BTS Anniversary

Busan wasn't chosen by accident. The city
has long held a special place in BTS history, especially because Jimin and
Jungkook were both born there. It was also where the group held its landmark
"Yet To Come in Busan" concert in 2022, an event that attracted
global attention and helped showcase the city to international audiences. For
many fans, seeing BTS return to Busan for such an important anniversary felt
like a full-circle moment. The city itself seemed ready for the occasion.

Throughout the anniversary week, BTS-themed
events appeared across Busan. Popular tourist spots, shopping districts, and
public spaces were decorated to welcome visiting fans. Special exhibitions, fan
events, and citywide celebrations created an atmosphere that extended well
beyond the stadium gates.

Visitors arriving from overseas could feel
the excitement almost immediately. Hotels, restaurants, cafés, and local
businesses joined the celebrations, while groups of ARMYs carrying merchandise
and light sticks became a common sight throughout the city.

Weekend Shared with ARMY

Inside the stadium, the atmosphere was
emotional from the start. As tens of thousands of ARMY Bomb light sticks
illuminated the venue, BTS took the stage to celebrate not only their music but
also the relationship they have built with fans over the past 13 years. The
members repeatedly thanked ARMY for supporting them through every stage of
their journey, from their early days as rookies to becoming one of the world's
biggest music acts.

The concerts carried extra weight because
they came after years that saw the members focusing on individual activities
and completing military service obligations. Watching all seven members perform
together again on such a symbolic date was a meaningful experience for many
fans.
Throughout the performances, the connection
between BTS and ARMY was impossible to miss. Fans sang along to every song,
cheered through emotional speeches, and celebrated milestones that both the
group and its supporters had reached together.

For some attendees, the trip to Busan had
been planned for months. Fans traveled from across Asia, Europe, North America,
and other regions specifically to be part of the anniversary celebrations.
Outside the venue, people exchanged photocards, shared stories about how they
discovered BTS, and connected with fellow fans who had traveled thousands of
kilometers for the same reason.
That sense of community has always been one
of BTS' defining strengths, and it was on full display throughout the weekend.
More
Than an Anniversary

The Busan concerts were also a reminder of
BTS' influence beyond music. The anniversary celebrations brought thousands of
international visitors to Korea and generated significant interest in Busan as
a travel destination. Hotels, restaurants, transportation services, and tourist
attractions all benefited from the influx of fans.

More importantly, the event highlighted how
BTS has evolved over the past 13 years. What began as the debut of a
seven-member group from a small agency has grown into a global cultural
phenomenon with a fanbase that spans continents.
As BTS continues its ARIRANG world tour,
the Busan concerts will likely be remembered as one of the defining moments of
the group's 13th year. The weekend celebrated their achievements, their bond
with ARMY, and the journey that brought them from their debut stage in 2013 to
a packed stadium in Busan 13 years later.

And for the fans who were there, it wasn't
simply an anniversary concert. It was a rare chance to celebrate a milestone
alongside BTS in a city that holds a special place in the group's story – and
one that many ARMYs won't soon forget.
