With garnering more and more attention, Starship Entertainment could not avoid some criticism about KiiiKiii members age. Concerns have arisen specifically regarding the age of KiiiKiii's youngest member, Kya (키야), who was born on December 18, 2010, making her 14 years old internationally and 15 in Korean age.

The revelation of Kya's age has sparked discussions among netizens, with some expressing discomfort about her being the youngest member in a group where all other members are 18 or older. Additionally, the use of past photos that make her appear younger than her actual age has contributed to the controversy. This situation has ignited debates within the K-pop community about the appropriate age for idols to debut, highlighting concerns over the industry's trend of recruiting younger trainees.
